My Journey & Mission
My journey began in 2013 when I was just 14 or 15 years old. One day, I asked my uncle, “How do I search on YouTube for how to install Windows 7?” I was using an old Pentium 3 computer with 2GB RAM and an Nvidia GPU — a machine I kept breaking. My uncle told me, "Just search How to install Windows 7 in Urdu." So, I typed it into YouTube, and instead of finding Windows tutorials, the most trending result was “How to make money on YouTube in Pakistan while creating videos.”
I thought, “Forget Windows, let’s explore this.” The video was from Tamoor Pardesi, Asia’s top person for teaching how to work online. After watching his video, I felt inspired: "Let’s get to work."
I started my YouTube channel "Tutorials Maker Urdu Hindi" and posted content about PC tips, tricks, and tutorials. After a year, I earned my first $100. I excitedly went to my father and said, “Dad, my payment came in, let’s go withdraw it!” He replied sarcastically, “Stop joking.” But when we went to Western Union and collected the money, he realized I was serious. Back then, $100 was around 15,000-20,000 PKR, and it was a huge moment for me.
I told my dad, “If you give me this money, I’ll buy a new PC, and you won’t have to worry about paying for my things anymore.” That’s when I understood that even from Pakistan, I could make money in dollars.
I kept following Tamoor Pardesi and learned more skills, especially after he repeatedly said, “Learn skills, learn skills.” I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but eventually, I learned whiteboard animation. I created my Fiverr account, and within three months, I made $2,000. That was a turning point for me. But due to some poor decisions, I upgraded my lifestyle too quickly.
From 15 to 19, I worked on various freelance projects, offering editing services, creating videos, and working with high-profile clients. I built my reputation as one of the fastest money-makers in my school. I stepped away from the typical desi mentality and embraced a growth mindset. Eventually, I started reselling YouTube channels, making huge profits — sometimes over 100,000 PKR in a single day.
However, despite the money, I lacked vision. I didn’t have a clear structure, system, or network. In 2019, I joined Happy Private Ltd as a content manager. After six months there, I realized, "It’s time to take control and start my own business."
I gathered my friends, Saad and Umer Farooq, and we rented a room in our neighborhood. We began working on YouTube channels, with a focus on Windows-related content. I followed Tamoor Pardesi’s course and built 10-12 channels. Some of them grew, but others didn’t work out.
Despite managing multiple channels, reselling, and teaching, I became distracted and fell into some bad habits. But I realized I had to refocus. I shifted my attention back to teaching content creation and coaching others. That’s when I met a girl from Sialkot. She told me she was moving to Lahore and wanted to work with me. It was my first real social interaction with someone outside my family, and it sparked a new direction.
In 2021, I set up an office with my friend Qasim, and we started working on projects. But after six months, the business didn’t succeed. I faced financial losses, but I didn’t let that stop me. I started my own services agency and began working with clients. I made mistakes, but I learned fast. I kept growing and building my business.
In 2022, I launched a course that trained over 200 students. This was when I started taking teaching seriously. I saw the results from my students, and 20% of them are still earning money today. The success of my students pushed me to further commit to my mission.
In June 2024, I made a bold decision. I left the comfort zone of Lahore, set up a company, and joined the organization of ContentBlog. This was a huge step for me. I relocated to Allahabad, Kasur, to pursue my mission of teaching advanced technologies, content creation, and AI to people in underserved areas. My students were mostly beginners, who didn't even know how to right-click or use a computer properly. It was challenging, frustrating, and overwhelming, but I had complete faith in myself and my mission. I knew that with the right guidance, I could help them unlock their potential.
Today, my team consists of over 20 active employees who handle our service model and work on client channels. I’m on a mission to train 10% of Punjab’s population in advanced technologies, content creation, and AI. I’m working actively to teach people skills that will change their lives and help them build a sustainable future.
I have built a community of over 5,000 students online and continue to teach and mentor them. Through this journey, I’ve learned that true leadership is about empowering others. I’m not just a content manager or consultant anymore. I am a mentor, a leader, and a guide. My mission is to show people that no matter where they come from, they can achieve anything if they have the right skills and mindset.
I’m committed to building a legacy — not just for myself, but for the future of Pakistan’s economy and its young people. The vision to train 10% of Punjab is a long-term goal, but I’m confident that with hard work, dedication, and a strong team, we will get there.
